Collins Aerospace is currently in search of a talented candidate to provide support to the DSFS contract. The person selected will provide Sensor Resource Entry-Level technical support and will be responsible for the initialization and operation of AF DCGS ground and airborne sensor systems at DMS-MD at Fort Meade, MD. This position will interface daily with users, mission planners, co-contractors, and other ground system maintainers to troubleshoot and correct problems, analyze performance, and make recommendations on improvements. 

What You Will Do​

Manages multiple airborne SIGINT sensor missions and processes simultaneously at a Core site.Operates and interfaces with multiple aircraft, sensors, sites, networks, systems, and O&M personnel.Provides updates to Maintenance Technician processes.Provides sensor troubleshooting and airborne fault resolution; identifies, resolves, and communicates issues with Low Band/High Band Systems, infrastructure, enterprise services, other SIGINT systems; support and recommend updates to SIGINT systems, SW, and networks.Create, update, and respond to Incident tickets.Manages data encryption changes and implementation.Monitors the SIGINT system and networks health/status (Sensor, platform, network paths to include crypto, DCGS SIGINT systems, and SIGINT related enterprise services).Provides comprehensive analysis, diagnostics and fault isolation for the SIGINT systems and networks associated with ground components.Provides comprehensive analysis, diagnostics and fault isolation for the SIGINT systems associated with End-to-End network paths/DSFS systems.SME that provides SIGINT and networks sustainment support during system upgrades.Monitors the networks connections between the SIGINT sensors and ground equipment.Coordinates efforts for sensor/system and network restoral.Provides SIGINT process and network improvements/recommendations.Create Serena Mission Debriefs; provide systems status (includes sensor) to operations and maintenance personnel completes SIGINT portion of end-to-end mission debrief and closes debrief if appropriate.Performs Pre-Mission, Mission execution and Post mission responsibilities in support of the SR systems.

Qualifications You Must Have 

Understanding of Computer Operations and Networks: Understanding of Signal Intelligence.Certifications - Must hold DoD 8570.1 (IAT Level II or IAM Level I).Must have ≥2 years of SIGINT experience.Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI Security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

Prior DCGS and SIGINT experience.Working knowledge of SEAM interface; COTS components, operational concepts; CICS SW component capabilities, failure indications, troubleshooting techniques, and recovery methodologies.Experience with military SIGINT domains to include U-2, Global Hawk, MQ-1 and MQ-9 sensors and processing, exploitation and dissemination (PED) architectures.UNIX (Solaris or Linux) and Microsoft Windows system administration.Administration of COTS or GOTS software solutions used by DCGS operators and analysts (CICS, RIM, CETS, etc).

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
