Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking self-motivated, energetic individual to work at our Colorado Springs, CO location as a Logistics Management Analyst supporting our JTAGS program.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

Serve as a Logistics Analyst for the JTAGS Logistics Team and be the program’s primary POC for day-to-day logistics operations, including inventory management and PHS&TPack and prepare equipment and material to support scheduled and unscheduled remote site maintenance and repair, off site testing, and new system installation and test requirementsCoordinate the shipment of classified and unclassified material to OCONUS military installations using commercial and military carriersReceive and process material and equipment from vendors, other contractors, and commercial couriersPerform quality check of material and equipment to ensure they are received in good working order and conditionManage and maintain inventory database that includes system spares and GFP, update inventory records as material is moved or consumed, and provide inventory reports to JTAGS leadershipAble to fully understand the business's concepts, practices, and proceduresWork with leadership and peers to architect cross-functional, integrated solutions across JTAGS Logistics Team to support business needsAnalyze existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and provide recommendations for process enhancements and optimizationsWork with Logistics Management Lead to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decision-making and improve operational efficiencyBuild relationships with key members of our user community and become a trusted resource with those usersWork with department managers and peers to unit test and deliver SAP Applications by defining and documenting reusable test scenarios, building unit test cases and creating data for unit testing as neededParticipate in prioritization of work requests to deliver on business initiatives; create reports for metrics, minor and major enhancementsEscalates complex issues for additional analysis and resolution as appropriate

Basic Qualifications:

Level 3: Associate's degree and 7 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of experience; a High School diploma or equivalent and 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degreeLevel 4: Associate's degree and 11 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience, or Master's degree and 7 years of experience; a High School diploma or equivalent and 13 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degreeExperience in a Logistics, Supply Chain, and/or Material Distribution/Warehouse settingExcellent attention to detail for inventory control and management, spares management, material quality, and preparation/review of appropriate DoD forms for material shipment and/or receiptExperience performing inventory audits to verify material location and conditionExperience with component/part identification and labeling/marking, including for GFESolid background in SAP Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Orders, and Inventory managementExtensive experience and understanding of DoD logistics processes, military standards, DoD directives, documentation, and best practices within a DoD programAdvanced knowledge and experience with developing cost & schedule estimations, identifying risk/opportunity, and selecting optimal methods to effectively transport materialExtensive hands-on experience with Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) for a DoD program with OCONUS locations, including packing and shipment of sensitive and classified materialsExperience in International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITARS)Proficient in MS Office Tools, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordAble to lift 50 lbs without assistance; able to lift greater than 50 lbs with assistanceActive DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP S4 and/or professional SAP certificationExperience and/or knowledge of DAF supply programsExperience with rack-mounted hardware assembly/disassembly and PHS&T is a plusExperience with antenna/RF equipment assembly/disassembly and PHS&T is a plusExperiencing managing unclassified and classified material inventory IAW site security protocols and best practicesAbility to develop and deliver briefings to program leadershipExperience preparing documentation for any of the following: inventory, including operational status and availability of spare material; repair/rework status of parts or componentsAbility to interface with Global Supply Chain to help evaluate and select new or replacement sources of materialAny experience or knowledge in quality control or material receiving inspection a plus

Salary Range: $75,400.00 - $113,000.00Salary Range 2: $93,800.00 - $140,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
