Remote roles are performed from the designated home work location upon time of hire, and any changes to this home work location requires a review of remote status and approval.We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Staff Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Innovation team in designing for the “Future of Work.” You will shape the future of employee productivity through AI, automation, and knowledge systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that enhance employee efficiency and the overall employee experience.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of AI-driven platforms and solutions to improve employee productivity.Develop and implement automation tools and systems to streamline workflows and processes.Create intelligent knowledge systems that provide employees with timely information.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software.Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.Stay updated on advancements in AI, automation, and knowledge systems, applying them to our products and processes.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in software design/development7+ years in a technical leadership role overseeing large, cross-functional teams..7+ years experience in/with programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++Preferred Qualifications:12+ years experience in software design/developmentExperience with large scale automation across key enterprise personasProven track record of leading and delivering complex software projects.Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.Applying machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Hands-on involvement with large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures.Familiarity with Data Infrastructure tech stacks: Kafka/PubSub systems, Flink, Airflow.In-depth knowledge of AI/machine learning and data analytics.Skilled at leading and influencing within large, matrixed organizations.Track record of leading high-impact, cross-organization initiatives.Background with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Strong knowledge of data science and big data technologies.Proficiency with Agile development methodologies.Suggested Skills:-Full stack-AI automation-Software DesignLinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.The pay range for this role is $203,000 to $333,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
