As a Principal System Engineer, you’ll be responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions and defining solutions to problems through reasoned application of information technology.
**Key Roles and Responsibilities:**
- Designs, develops, documents, and analyzes overall architecture of systems, including hardware and software.
- Determines integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
- Coordinates design and integration of total system including subsystems.
- Researches and recommends technology to improve the current systems. - Supports technical initiatives normally as part of a larger project.
- Works on development of new technologies or maintenance of existing technologies.
- Exchanges complex technical information and provides training and guidance to others in work area by breaking down information in a systematic and logical manner.
- Maintain strong hands-on skills with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and stay updated on MuleSoft products, strategies, and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in MuleSoft and integration technologies and implement C4E best practices.
- Apply strong infrastructure knowledge, including servers, clusters, load balancers, firewall rules, SSL, VPC, VPN, and certificates, to architect reliable and secure integration solutions.
- Carryout technical proof of concepts and guide Mulesoft platform team on the implementation.
**Qualifications:**
+ 8-10 years of related experience.
+ Degree in Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field preferred
+ Experience in building multiple versions systems addressing performance and scale.
+ Experience developing technical documentation on applications and systems.
+ Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams.

+ 8 - 10+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft and API Management, monitoring with Excellent knowledge of SOA, ESB concepts.
+ Working experience with Linux and Kubernetes.
+ Deep experience with Anypoint Platform, Flow Design, API Design, DataWeave, Runtime Fabric, and API Management.
+ Strong understanding and experience with security implementations (e.g., SSL/mutual SSL, SAML, OAuth).
+ Experience in building DevSecOps process using Jenkins, GitOps with ArgoCD.
+ Ability to carry out technical proof of concept, provide technical guidance to the team.
+ Experience in building custom connectors.
+ Experienced in C4E platform enablement and architecting complex integration projects across various domains
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
+ Good experience in Azure or any cloud related technologies
Our Principal System Engineering, earns between $158,200.00-$237,400.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
