**About The Job**
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Workday Product Owner to join our team. As a Workday Product Owner, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, roadmap, and overall success of our Workday platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and other product owners to ensure that our Workday system meets the needs of our organization and delivers maximum value. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the optimization and enhancement of our Workday system, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our business. This role involves analyzing business requirements, configuring Workday modules, and providing ongoing support to end-users.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Product Vision and Strategy:**
+ Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for Workday, aligned with business goals and objectives.
+ Create and manage the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects the evolving needs of the business and prioritizes key initiatives.
+ **Stakeholder Collaboration:**
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
+ Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into actionable product features.
+ Translate business needs into functional specifications and system design.
+ Develop and document processes and workflows.
+ Collaborate with developers, IT Support to resolve technical problems impacting business workflow.
+ Work closely with business stakeholders to address integration related issues and implement system changes.
+ **Backlog Management:**
+ Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized, up-to-date, and reflective of stakeholder priorities.
+ Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure that the development team understands the requirements.
+ **Product Development:**
+ Work closely with the development team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of Workday enhancements and features.
+ Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to provide guidance and clarify requirements.
+ Make critical decisions regarding feature scope, prioritization, and trade-offs to maximize value delivery.
+ Testing and Quality Assurance:
+ Collaborate with functional teams to ensure that all Workday features are thoroughly tested and meet acceptance criteria before release.
+ Experience conducting system testing, identifying issues, and recommending appropriate solutions or enhancements.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Monitor and analyze product performance, user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the Workday product. Provide ongoing support to users, addressing questions and issues as they arise.
**Qualifications:**
8-10 years experience as Product Owner or related technology role
Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a focus on Workday payroll, international payroll, benefits, and compensation areas of Workday HCM
In-depth knowledge of Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, etc.) and their functionalities.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Customer service by providing timely and helpful support to clients
Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Workday certification(s) is highly desirable.
Desired Qualifications: - Degree in Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field.
Our Principal System Engineering, earns between $158,200.00-$237,400.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
