Fidelity's Workplace Solutions (WS) Digital Platforms Technology team designs, develops, implements, and supports WS’s suite of Digital products and services. BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferredRobust critical thinking skills coupled with a desire for growth, to learn and to engage with peers in technical and design discussionsExperience in presenting technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partnersAbility to utilize a long-term mentality to help produce scalable, maintainable solutionsPassion to provide guidance on standard methodologies and mentoring support to the other Systems Analysts within the wider Digital Platforms Technology team5+ years of experience, with a focus in financial services applicationsExperience leading, influencing and collaborating in a matrix-managed environment and across multiple, diverse groupsExperience with Jira and/or ConfluenceExperience with triaging and troubleshooting Production IncidentsExperience with database query tools / Strong SQL skills

The Purpose of Your Role

You will serve as a Systems Analyst who will play a key role on a Content Scrum team and within Digital Platforms Technology. You will work closely with the Squad Lead, Developers, Quality Assurance and Architects to craft, build, test, and deliver the features that make up Fidelity’s Digital experiences. You will also be expected to provide guidance and mentoring to the other Systems Analysts within the wider Digital Platforms Technology team.

Experience collaborating in a team environment to develop, deploy, and support key applications and featuresA demonstrable understanding of the Agile software development methodologyExcellent written and oral communication skills, allowing you to interview Business partners to understand project objectives, use cases and requirementsStrong analytical skills, enabling you to research, document and review existing systems and recommend designs for achieving requirements for self-contained projects within a larger programProficiency in assisting in the writing of user requirements and all the supporting documentationAbility to diagram business processes and system workflowsExpertise in conveying technical concepts with internal customers, technical team members, and/or other technical contributors across the organizationWillingness to actively participate in defining project scope/backlog, while recommending solutions to project issuesDesire to understand WS Digital Platforms’ web and mobile applications, while having the confidence to clearly communicate technical concepts to the internal partners inside and outside of the Scrum teamAbility to learn quickly, adapt and thrive to meet the needs of a fast-paced and evolving environmentAbility to provide strong support to Quality Assurance and Business partners throughout all testing phases, including participating in triaging system defects in production and non-production environments

Your experience with the following will be a plus:

Ability to perform technical analysis of sophisticated Web application development concepts (Spring MVC, Spring Core, XML, CSS, etc.)Experience with Java and ConfluenceWorking understanding of QA automationExperience with Content Management SystemsCreating taxonomies, frameworks for grouping and tagging contentContent planning, creation, and managementDefining content solutions/Content Strategy
