The CDF Data Warehouse will help the warfighter make informed decisions by supporting advanced AI/ML on all available data resources to provide advanced analytics capabilities.
As a baseline, the CDF Data Warehouse will provide warehouse functions to the CDF Data Broker Platform . RAS will design, prototype, operationalize, and maintain the CDF Data Warehouse using the data provided by the CDF Data Broker Platform. The warehouse will be designed with the intent to franchise the solution, allowing other agencies and missions to benefit and for the data supply to grow as it is integrated with other systems.

Position Details: Interfaces with Government, Diamond team, and users to architect and design data warehouse approach and cloud infrastructure with emphasis on Azure implementationsLeads engineering and administrator activities for cloud-based data solutionsDevelops server and storage virtualization strategy incorporating Microsoft Purview and Advana Data CatalogImplements and maintains Zero Trust Data Pillar requirements, ensuring proper data classification, access controls, and security measuresEngineers cloud environment with focus on data governance and catalog implementationSupports Scrum Master in planning and sizing tasks for cloud implementation projectsQualifications: Bachelor Degree + 16 years or Master Degree + 14 years experience or 20 years of experienceExperience analyzing user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications for cloud environmentsExperience providing expert guidance and direction to senior level technicians and engineers on cloud migration and implementationExperience directing multiple contractor and subcontractor teams through to project completionDemonstrated expertise with Azure cloud services, particularly related to data managementKnowledge of data catalog implementation and management, preferably with MS Azure PurviewExperience with enterprise data governance and security frameworks in cloud environmentsMore details can be shared in a technical conversation.

Salary range for this position: $180,000-195,000 #CJ
