Job Description:
Analyzes, enhances, installs, tests and modifies enterprise-wide operating systems for both new and existing virtual systems. Develop requirements, workflow and systems analysis. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities. Establishes standards for development and maintenance of new and existing products.
Responsibilities:
Perform frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.Demonstrate the skill and ability to perform oderately complex professional tasksProvide analysis and solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assignedReview and analyze work for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. Works under general supervisionContribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Failure to achieve results or inadequate work product should be detected by supervisory oversight but may cause delay in program schedules and allocation of additional resourcesProvide over – the – shoulder training to military operatorsPerform routine system maintenance and computer system administrative functionsMust be knowledgeable of or learn the use of operating and database management systems specific to the Army’s mission command suites. Examples are Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Air, Missile, Defense Workstation (AMDWS), etc. Be available for temporary assignment to various CONUS/OCONUS sites for extended periods of timeGenerate customer related reports from multiple sources, for example Daily Activity Reports, Trip Request, Trip ReportsPoses excellent oral and written communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic Qualifications:
One of the following:A high school diploma with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experienceA bachelor's in science degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experienceA master's in science degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experienceWilling to travel up to 40% per calendar yearComfortable interacting with all military ranksCapable of performing analysis of system operationsKnowledgeable and experienced in operations of Virtual systems and componentsSystem Engineering or administration experience with Windows 10, Windows Server 2019 and Active Directory services. Capable of routine system analysis and maintenance on both software and hardware, along with associated componentsPossess active Secret ClearancePossesses or can acquire a SEC+ certificate within 6 months of start date

Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
