Principal Technical Consultant, Occupational Health Program Manager (Principal Level)

To support the successful delivery of ERM proposals and projects in line with our vision,  values and our strategic imperatives by:

Adhering to all ERM and client requirements,  specifically those related to H&S and governanceIdentifying opportunities for evolving services in line with client needs        Identifying follow-on sales opportunities in respect of designated projects.    Contributing to achieving sales target by supporting Account Management team and BUs  

TECHNICAL FOCUS

Create and sustain ERM’s reputation for technical excellence in a technical specialism or subject matter through working with clients and professional associations, as well as industry associations and/or universities.Build and maintain strong relationships with external knowledge communities and effectively transferring this expertise back to ERM.

Responsibilities

Provide Occupational Health guidance to a team of case managers on a variety of Occupational Health related topics and programs.Support process improvement projects and strategies.Support development of health analytics/KPIs to inform strategy development and evaluate service delivery.Provide leadership and guidance on outbreak, emergency response and triage best practices.Lead investigations of complex, escalated cases for different OH programs such as musclo-skeletal, mental health issues, infectious diseases (e.g., COVID, measles) cases in the workplace by conducting interviews, contact tracing, and reviewing clinical information to fully understand the transmission risk of the disease in question.  Provide detailed documentation of investigative work, allowing for others to review this work with a clear understanding of patterns and risk.Provide employees with limited clinical advice and referrals to appropriate healthcare providers to ensure proper clinical treatment of infectious diseases, expediting a safe return to the office.Work with both principal business owners and vendor partners responding to day-to-day issues and inquiries with current Company approved information as well as supporting other program initiatives developed by the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team as needed.Partner closely with EHS and other key partners to provide clinical support and assist in development and improvement of Occupational Health Response policies and procedures.Responding to staff inquiries and illness related issues in writing via an online ticket management platform.Assess the priority of any reported illnesses using criteria consistent with Company policy.Follow established written processes to alert appropriate key stakeholders.Minimum qualifications (MQs)

You must meet these minimum qualifications for this job

College degree (RN, BA, BS or equivalent), preferably in Occupational Health / Public Health.1-3 years of case management and/or Occupational Health / Public Health experience.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with extreme attention to detail and careful follow-through.Ability to plan, execute and efficiently deliver on varying simultaneous tasks in a timely manner while working independently with little supervision.Ability to work well under pressure and stay immaculately organized in a fast-paced, diverse, high-tech environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High level professionalism, discretion, and integrity; ability to reliably handle confidential and medical information.Strong stakeholder management skills.Preferred qualifications (PQs)

Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable

Qualified PMPNursing, clinical or epidemiology backgroundHealth project managementStrong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new toolsClear understanding of health and safety protocols and the ability to advise on compliance and reporting with Cal OSHA, federal, state and local public health agencies as needed

For the Principal Technical Consultant, Occupational Health Program Manager (Principal Level) position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $108,358 – $130,424 (USD).  An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.  We also may have instances where compensation may be outside of the range, based on the factors noted above.  This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary based performance bonus.
