Principal Threat Advisor

This position is an individual contributor role that is pivotal for the Threat Intelligence Program. This position is responsible for operating in all phases of the intelligence cycle, but also for disseminating information throughout the organization to advise of cyber threats that may impact JLL.

This role is a dynamic role that will require strong technical ability across multiple technical disciplines and strong interpersonal skills. A successful candidate in this role will be able to execute our mission to protect a global network in close collaboration with engineering teams and business leaders to ensure that security investments are optimized, and controls are implemented based upon actionable intelligence.

Primary Responsibilities

 Provides expert level oversight specific cyber threats to assist with Cyber Defense initiatives. Assist with Threat Intelligence tools development and buildout capabilities; maintain vendor relationships.Discover and provide raw and finished intelligence products on emerging threats and trends to technical and board level customers.Develop and maintain relationships with LEO, experts across multiple industries.Assist with establishing and maintaining Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs), and associated Collection Requirements (CRs). Collaborate with Global Cyber Defense team to develop mitigation / prevention strategiesIdentify potential threats based upon established PIRs; analyze and disseminate information to necessary business units.Prepares and delivers briefings, lessons learned, metrics, after action reports, and other adhoc program documentation, both verbally and in person.

5-7 years Cybersecurity, specifically in a Threat role.2-3 years in an operational security, hands on role. Prioritize and execute with minimal direction.Deep understanding of the adversary ecosystem.Extensive knowledge of tools, techniques, and methodologies with analyzing and mitigation cyber-attacks.Extensive experience providing both in-person and virtual briefings for both technical and senior executive audiences.Knowledge of Cybersecurity prevention and detection capabilities such as but not limited to EDR, SIEM, IPS, WAF & experience with experience in developing intelligence automation within tools.Familiarity with Cybersecurity industry best practices, frameworks, and methodologies such as but not limited to NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS. 

Estimated total compensation for this position:

140,000.00 – 180,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
