We are seeking a Principle, Program Manager for Amazon Flex in the Worldwide Marketing & Communications team. In this role, you will own, develop, and drive key global programs, processes, and mechanisms to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization. This role is responsible for developing and leading processes for inspecting and reporting progress against global goals and standards; driving a centralized, comprehensive understanding of key performance indicators; and managing critical organization-wide performance and roadmap review mechanisms. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, passionate, highly analytical, detail-oriented, possess solid interpersonal and communication skills, and be comfortable working independently to deliver results. You will work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels. You think strategically, write effectively, and plan accurately to execute and deliver on weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly objectives. You effectively coach functional leadership and partners on operational policies and tools, and drive holistic operational excellence across the organization.
Key job responsibilities
• Own strategic planning, execution, and reporting for key global programs.
• Ensure alignment on overall strategic goals, standards, objectives and key results, and metrics for planning cycles.
• Analyze business performance, including defining and tracking KPIs, issue identification and resolution, in support of organizational goals.
• Create and manage key reports and mechanisms in support of the organization.
• Drive operational optimization and efficiency, maintaining and improving global tools and processes.
