Principle Architect
Job Title: CX Design Principal Job Description We are seeking a CX Design Principal to lead diverse studio groups and oversee integrated design efforts for projects of varying types, scales, and complexity. This role involves developing and implementing strategic plans, overseeing project execution, and ensuring that design standards are up to date. You will be responsible for ensuring designers meet budgets and schedules, collaborating within the organization, and coordinating with all regional offices to drive success across the board. Responsibilities + Develop and implement large-scale strategic initiatives and contribute to annual business planning. + Ensure consistent quality of design deliverables and elevate the firm's reputation for design excellence. + Lead business development efforts, pursue growth opportunities, and contribute to project proposals, RFP responses, and statements of qualifications. + Foster collaborative team environments and provide constructive feedback. + Develop and maintain strong client relationships and manage the health and viability of client interactions. + Navigate conflict, manage through change, and facilitate difficult conversations to achieve specific outcomes. + Provide guidance and mentorship to staff at all levels, actively engage in Learning and Development opportunities. + Lead cross-market collaboration efforts, integrate regional design practices, and ensure successful project team integration. Essential Skills + Proven ability to lead diverse studio groups and manage staffing resources. + Experience in developing and implementing large-scale strategic initiatives. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Comprehensive understanding of large-scale business operations and firm-wide financial management. + 20+ years of experience in architecture, interior design, or a related field. + Experience in retail, Food and Beverage (F&B), or entertainment sectors. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelors' and/or Masters degree in architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent. + Heavy design experience. + Experience with architectural design, construction, and construction administration. + Experience managing projects in retail, Food and Beverage (F&B), or entertainment sectors. Work Environment This role offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, including up to 25% travel to other sites. You will have the autonomy to shape and make the role your own, and the opportunity to work with global brands. The company is merging with Colliers Engineering and Design to expand design services and gain strong backing. This role also offers a path to becoming a shareholder at P2 within a few years. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $180000.00 - $200000.00 Generous PTO: 5 weeks of paid time off plus holidays.Health Coverage: Comprehensive health coverage, transitioning from Aetna to BCBS.Bonuses: Year-end bonuses of 8-10%, with potential mid-year bonuses.
