The team operates around 50 sites in 32 states with a robust development pipeline.
**About the role**
The Principal Enterprise Cybersecurity Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide security architecture, ensuring the organization's technology ecosystem remains secure, compliant, and resilient against evolving cyber threats.
**Key accountabilities**
+ Design and lead all aspects of the implementation of enterprise-wide security architecture frameworks, patterns, and standards that align with business objectives and risk tolerance
+ Develop and maintain security reference architectures, covering cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments in collaboration with architects and senior engineers from adjacent technology teams
+ Collaborate with architects from other business units to align strategies and share knowledge
+ Evaluate emerging security technologies and maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, threat landscapes, and innovative security solutions
+ Mentor security engineers, analysts, and members of other technology teams, encouraging a culture of security awareness and excellence
+ Collaborate with leadership to develop security roadmaps and investment strategies
**Essential education**
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
**Essential experience**
+ 12+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in security architecture roles or equivalent work experience
+ Deep expertise in security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SABSA) and security controls
+ Extensive experience with cloud security architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)
+ Strong understanding of zero trust architecture, identity and access management, and data protection
+ Proven track record of leading large-scale security initiatives and transformations
+ Experienced knowledge of cloud security, network security, and infrastructure security
+ Experience with regulatory compliance (SOX, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR) requirements
**Desirable criteria**
+ Experience in highly supervised industries a plus (financial services, healthcare, government)
+ Background in enterprise architecture and solution architecture
+ Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence C-level executives

How much do we pay (Base)? $80,000 - $110,000
*Note that the pay range listed for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 – 240 hours of vacation per year for full times employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees). You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays.
