Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Press / Print Operating Technician II for our North Mankato Label Works facility

Your Responsibilities:

Press Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate a 6-color printing press to produce high-quality printsQuality Control: Inspect printed materials for color accuracy, registration, and overall qualityMaintenance: Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure optimal press performanceInk & Material Management: Load ink, paper, and other necessary materials while adjusting ink levels and press settings as neededTroubleshooting: Identify and resolve printing issues such as color misalignment, streaking, or press malfunctionsSafety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, workplace policies, and industry standardsProduction Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet production quotas and deadlines while minimizing waste

Your Shift: 3rd - Monday - Friday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am

You Must Have:

Strong understanding of color theory, ink mixing, and printing processesAbility to troubleshoot mechanical and print-related issuesAttention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPhysical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods

We Would Also Prefer:

Previous experience operating a multi-color printing press is preferredAbility to distinguish colorsExperience in a production related environmentHigh school education or equivalent

Requirements Within This Position:

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $20 – 24. Plus Shift Differential. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
