Print Production Analyst

Business Operations manages various shared support services and enterprise-wide functions to include records information management, business continuity planning, workplace safety and security, travel, food service, staff health clinic, fitness center, parking garage, facilities and real estate management, media operations and print and mail services. The Print Production Analyst participates in the implementation of short-run print production and direct mail projects. Provides print and quality guidance as needed. Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest level of quality in color fidelity, printability, readability, and accuracy in advertisements and editorial content. Generates and analyzes print production reports. Provides trends to management. Responsibilities Handles and responds daily to internal clients with print and mail requests either by telephone or electronically via web-based digital storefront. Captures internal client requests verifying specifications and desired schedules. Loads art and specifications and confirms schedule for print jobs through vendor web portal for print and mail ordering. Approves print and mail proofs and routes for review. Tracks client orders throughout print, mail, and fulfillment process and closes out jobs ensuring clients receive notification of mailing/shipping. Confirms final counts and amends print counts with vendor to insure accurate invoice billing. Follows up on all aspects of print jobs to achieve price savings, quality, and timely delivery. Escalate issues as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years’ experience in print production management Demonstrated customer service experience Strong organizational skills/ detail oriented Experience with Microsoft office applications Preferred: Project management experience, negotiation and purchasing experience Associate’s Degree AARP will not sponsor an employment visa for this position at this time. Remote work can only be done within the United States and its territories.
