Print Technician
Description We are in the process of recruiting a Print Technician to be based in Bergen County, New Jersey. This role falls within the printing industry and necessitates a hands-on approach to executing print projects according to approved work orders. The chosen candidate will be part of a collaborative team responsible for delivering exceptional custom projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities: • Ensuring regular maintenance and daily upkeep of print department machinery • Collaborating with the Print team and Prepress staff to overcome project challenges • Adapting to shifting priorities, multitasking, and meeting deadlines independently • Utilizing the Onyx system to review project specifications • Finalizing print work orders, including lamination and/or trimming • Demonstrating a strong understanding of setting up print projects and selecting the appropriate machines for execution • Executing requested print projects according to approved work orders • Processing customer service queries and maintaining compliance with eProcurement processes • Exhibiting strong verbal communication skills and an ability to collaborate with diverse teams • Showcasing exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Print Technician. • Proficiency in eProcurement systems to manage and streamline the procurement process. • Strong understanding of compliance requirements in the printing industry. • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve printing issues promptly. • Proven capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Proficient in using modern printing equipment and software. • Ability to work well in a team and independently when required.
