Printer Maintenance Associate
Job Title: Printer Maintenance Associate/Delivery Associate Location: Poway, CA Job Type: Hourly Consultant Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, M-F Pay: $23/hr There is driving with this position using a client Vehicle. Must have a valid, driver's license with no more than one moving violation in the past three years. This position will be driving the company van to deliver supplies and paper to Xerox Machines and check in with customers along the way. Update tickets at end of the day. Various other tasks/duties throughout the day. Essential Functions: Respond to and manage Docucare tickets. Responsible for an assigned route with multiple buildings (up to 600 Xerox devices). Ensure all devices have necessary supplies and paper. Assist with the pickup and return of IT equipment, such as desktops, to the IT department. Operate office/production equipment including printers, copiers, faxes, and scanners. Apply asset tags to office equipment and update the database. Track, move, add, or change office equipment assets at customer locations. Clean and maintain office equipment when necessary. Process basic forms and update information on a PC. Collect and submit meter reads for equipment. Solve problems and complete production, delivery, and output requirements efficiently. Sort and scan hardcopy materials or other mediums for use in printed documents or digital formats; training will be provided. Collect data and address equipment issues by contacting service personnel using designated applications. Skills: Proficient in PC operations (keyboard, mouse, etc.). Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to create spreadsheets, use formulas, filter, sort, and generate graphs. Capable of importing/exporting data and embedding files into applications. Comfortable moving data between Word and Excel. Familiar with basic math functions (division, multiplication, percentages). Excellent business maturity and professionalism. Strong ability to coach and mentor co-workers. Demonstrated ability to use networked devices (printers, drives, etc.). Competent with internet browsing and email communication. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service environment. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-high school technology training or relevant experience required. Additional Information: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $20 to $23/hr Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
