**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Pay Rate- $21/hr. To $27/hr.** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with specific experience operating a Heidelberg Printing Press. This role is available for 2nd or 3rd shift, offering steady full-time work hours in a friendly and respectful work culture. **Responsibilities** + Run the printing press according to the production schedule. + Inspect printed products before and during the press run, adjusting settings and ink density for quality reproduction, or shutting down the press to make necessary adjustments. + Work within the 'Standard Operating Procedures'. Check loads for proper raw stock and load into press feeder. Check printing plates and inks for proper specifications. Set up the press with printing plates and ink for scheduled orders. Complete necessary documentation including product count, production, delays, and causes of delays. Communicate any major equipment malfunction or poor quality raw material. + Follow safety standards and keep the press area clean. + Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of printing experience. + Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). + Ability to read a ruler. + Ability to communicate and write in English. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous printing experience is a bonus. + Experience with printing, print operation, jet press, flexo operation, sheet-fed, digital printing, envelope press, machine setup, Halm Jet Press Machine. + Experience as an envelope machine operator and sheet-fed press operator. **Why Work Here?** We offer a friendly and respectful work culture with a set schedule and steady full-time work hours. The facility houses 8 machines in the production area, and candidates will move around to assist other operators. The work environment is climate-controlled but loud, requiring ear plugs. The role involves standing for the entire 8-hour shift and frequent bending, with the need to lift up to 20-50 pounds. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
