Job Description

SCHEDULE OPTIONS

2-2-3 Rotating Shift (5:00-5:00) switching between day shift and night shift every two weeks

COMPENSATION

$29.65/hour + $1.20 night shift premium and 1.5x pay on Sundays

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Operators will lead in all aspects of operation of Press lines including changeovers, machine start-up, running and shut-down.Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety. Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, print specification, color folders and standard operating procedures.Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out accurately and completely.  This includes, but is not limited to; production reports, job verification sheets, ink usage sheets, QA reports, roll tickets (all flags are recorded), S.O.C sheets and all others as assigned.Work with and direct the press assistant and pit crew to minimize job change-over and down time.Train and direct the press assistant to become efficient at all the required assistant duties defined in each level of the assistant training matrix on time.While also knowing and understanding the role in product safety.Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work)All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbsWilling and able to stand and walk for an 8/12 hour shiftFrequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twistingFrequent use of wrist and handsFrequent stepping up and down from platformsReasonable accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basis
