**Job Title: Printing Pressman Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Printing Pressman Operator who is open to either day or night shifts. You will operate multiple machines and cross-train to understand and manage each one. Our floor contains four variable cut-off web presses capable of printing up to eight colors, producing a variety of products including Roll to Roll Continuous Forms, Fan-Folded Continuous Forms, Letters, Inserts, Reply Devices, Brochures, Buckslips, and Newsletters. The ideal candidate will set up, adjust, and maintain the press to ensure high-quality print production. **Responsibilities** + Prepare the printing press for production by setting up the required tools and materials. + Adjust the press to match the size, style, and color specifications of each job. + Operate the printing press, monitor its operation, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality. + Mix inks and load them into the press. + Check printed materials for imperfections or inconsistencies, and adjust the press to correct any issues. + Clean and maintain the printing press to ensure its optimal operation. + Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot any equipment issues. + Complete press production records and maintain an inventory of press components and supplies. + Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and protect the equipment. + Communicate with other staff to ensure smooth operation of the print production process. **Essential Skills** + Mechanically inclined + Experience with printing press operations + Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance + Attention to detail + Willingness to learn on the job + Team player **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with bindery operations + Knowledge of manufacturing processes + Ability to show initiative and commit to a long-term position **Why Work Here?** We invest in our employees and provide a relaxed work environment. Hours could be either 6:00am-4:00pm Tuesday through Friday or 4:00pm-2:00am Tuesday through Friday. The work environment is a standard large manufacturing setting with machines running all day. No steel-toed boots are required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
