JOB SUMMARY
The Consumer Direct Care Network Privacy Analyst assists the Privacy Officer and Compliance Officer. This individual works independently to manage HIPAA compliance, state laws, and contract requirements related to disclosures and reporting. Additionally, the Privacy Analyst will help implement and maintain a robust privacy program. Program offices will seek this individual’s expertise in disclosures and HIPAArelated inquiries.
JOB DUTIES Assist with privacy inquiries and tasks to support business growth and development Promote a cohesive office environment Support day-to-day operations Communicate effectively Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures Demonstrate dependability Exhibit effective problem-solving and decision-making skills Display proficiency with computers Maintain necessary skills and knowledge to coordinate workflow Participate in professional development and training activities Prioritize and multitask effectively Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients Offer guidance and support to CDCN program teams and departments on privacy-related matters Manage the intake and analysis of privacy disclosure reports Assist with the development and maintenance of a Vendor Management Program Help develop and maintain databases for tracking and reporting Stay up to date with the latest privacy trends, technologies, and best practices, and share insights with the team Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree preferred 3–5 years of previous privacy experience in healthcare administration preferred A combination of education and experience is acceptable Reliable internet service for hybrid or remote work, if applicable
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout theworkday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and tostand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
