GENERAL FUNCTION: The Private Bank Senior Insurance Specialist works within the Private Bank teams to provide comprehensive insurance solutions based on client needs and objectives. Primary focus is on the $5M to $25M segment and engages with the Family Wealth Specialist in the greater than $25M segment. Provides proper coverage for sales, service, and education within their coverage area. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues to ensure that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience while operating within the Bank's risk appetite by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Responsible for assigned territories revenue goals. · Design, implement and manage business plan supporting the assigned Territories which includes client level, sales processes, and result reporting. · Consult with Life Insurance Sales Manager to implement business plan to support revenue goal. · Communicate Business Plan with Regional Directors · Provide professional consulting / advisory services and solutions to clients through the development, delivery, and implementation of Risk Management planning (Life, Long Term Care, Disability). · Develop proactive, reciprocal calling and referral relationships with regional managers and advisors to create planning strategies and opportunities client base · Devote time prospecting to new and existing clients leveraging consultative selling process to focus on needs and objectives. · Gather data for quotes and prepares quote request submissions; analyze marketing summary/order presentation spreadsheets and presents proposals; complete application for new business submissions. · Maintain existing book of business with a focus on deepening client relationships. · Review, market, and deliver renewals as needed as well as process and review plan amendments. · Keep current with carriers, products, and applicable legislation · Pursues professional studies and maintains a familiarity with trends in the industry and with new insurance products. · Must be able to profile high net worth clients and then articulate complex concepts, in an understandable way and converse with clients and their advisors convincingly. · Coordinate Family Wealth Risk Management Specialist activity within assigned territory. · Acts as backup for department team as necessary. · Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: · Appropriate state resident insurance licenses for Life, Health, and Long-Term Care certification. · Bachelor’s degree preferred. · CLU, CFP or ChFC Designation(s) preferred · 5+ years insurance sales experience with High-Net-Worth clients ($10MM+) · Professional designation required Benefits: Our benefits programs are designed to support the health, happiness, and financial well-being of our employees and their families. Incentive compensation is combined with either a base salary or a draw to determine total cash compensation, and incentive compensation is based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
