Entry-level position into Private Banking. The purpose of this job is to assist the Private Banking Department managing the “BEST” clients of the Bank, while developing the skills necessary to progress in this area. Other purposes are to assist in client development, portfolio management, and to conduct special projects as required.
Responsibilities Work with Private Banking personnel on a day-to-day basis in order to learn the fundamentals of Private Banking, i.e. portfolio management, credit analysis & solutions, deposit services, and all non-bank solutions. Begin process of obtaining business development (sales) skills through structured calling program and team dynamic to enhance the client experience.Begin participation in community, professional, and trade organizationsPerform additional duties as assigned. QualificationsMinimum of two (2) years banking experience in Management Development Program, credit analysis, retail or private bankingBasic knowledge of the financial services industryKnowledge of sales principles Knowledge of Lending practicesGeneral knowledge of banking products and services Knowledge of credit analysis processUnderstand basic investment strategies implemented by High net worth clientsUnderstand basic estate planning strategies implemented by High net worth clientsUnderstand basic insurance strategies implemented by High net worth clientsEffective oral and written communication skillsGeneral working knowledge of PC operations to include word processing and spreadsheet applicationsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to use credit analysis skills in analyzing customer financial statements Decision making, problem solving, and persuasion skillsAble to practice time management principals in order to prioritize workload Customer contact and sales and service skillsAbility to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously and to shift priorities of customers quickly Ability to work independently as a self-starter as well as within a team framework.Four-year college degree preferredKnowledge of Private Banking preferred Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
