AB Private Credit Investors (“AB-PCI”) is the private corporate credit investing platform of AB offering direct lending capabilities to middle-market companies across various industry sectors. AB-PCI focuses on directly sourced and privately negotiated investments in the primary issue market, while selectively pursuing opportunities in the distributed and secondary loan markets on a relative value basis. AB-PCI pursues a flexible mandate designed to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns by investing in unitranche, first lien and second lien debt as well as selectively structured preferred stock and private equity co-investments. Target companies typically have robust business models, strong competitive positions, sustainable enterprise value and predictable cash flow profiles. The group maintains a strong credit culture and pursues a highly selective investment process based on fundamental due diligence and a focus on transaction terms and documentation.

The Private Credit Loan Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the private credit loan portfolio. This includes monitoring and analyzing loan performance, ensuring compliance with loan covenants, and managing the loan closing process. The analyst will work closely with the investment team, legal team, and external service providers to ensure timely and accurate execution of loan transactions.

Monitor and analyze loan performance, including financial statements, covenant compliance, and borrower communicationManage the loan closing process, including coordinating with legal counsel, reviewing loan documentation, and ensuring timely fundingCoordinate trade and lifecycle activities between loan closer, back-office, Fund Administrator and Treasury/Cash managementMaintain accurate loan records and ensure compliance with internal policies and proceduresWork closely with the investment team to identify and mitigate risks in the loan portfolioCommunicate with borrowers and external service providers to resolve issues and ensure timely loan servicingPrepare reports and presentations for senior management and investors on loan performance and portfolio trends

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications / skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or EconomicsExperience in the Private Corporate Credit space/middle market loan space1+ years of experience in loan operations or related fieldProactive, self-motivated, excellent organizational, analytical and communication skillsAbility to effectively prioritize work, adapt and make decisions in a fast and challenging environment where tasks can change dailyHigh attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and responsivenessProficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word requiredKnowledge of private credit loan structures and documentation preferredKnowledge of PowerBI and SentryPM platforms preferred
