Overview Private Duty LPN - Day Shift

Schedule: 7 AM - 6 PM, Split Every Other Weekend | 33/44 Split Schedule
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to join our Private Duty team in Newbern, TN, providing exceptional one-on-one care in the home environment. This role focuses on caring for a patient with both trach and G-tube needs, offering the opportunity to build lasting relationships and deliver impactful care.

This schedule means you’ll work 33 hours one week and 44 hours the next, alternating every other weekend. It’s perfect for those seeking a blend of consistency and flexibility while maintaining a full-time status.

Responsibilities Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practiceProvide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RNMonitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observationsMonitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediatelyObserve, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and reports any changesAdminister medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patient's file accordinglyAttend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standingPrevious private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferredActive CPR certificationFamiliarity with electronic health recordsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsReliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance About our Line of Business Adoration Home Health and Hospice provides quality and compassionate services in the comfort of home, providing support for patients, families and caregivers in their time of need.
