Overview

Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE) is a private equity fund focused on growth capital and buyout opportunities in the United States, Europe, and Israel. As a Private Equity Analyst, you will work closely with our senior deal professionals at every stage of the investment process. You will play an integral role in sourcing deals, executing transactions, managing the portfolio, and supporting corporate development. You will quickly gain valuable experience as you develop robust financial models, network with industry entrepreneurs, and evaluate potential investments in new industries. This position represents a unique opportunity for highly-motivated graduates to assume a wide set of responsibilities and make a significant impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our team is located in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, just outside of Center City Philadelphia.

 

Specific Job Duties

Deal sourcing, deal execution, and on-going portfolio managementAssisting in due diligence for potential new investments, including market research and analysis of industry trends, financial modeling, and valuationDeveloping detailed financial models for financings and liquidity eventsAnalyzing operational forecasts and budgets for active and potential investmentsDeveloping presentation materials for the firm and its portfolio companiesTracking industry statistics and maintaining quarterly and semi-annual internal databasesSupporting new acquisitions post-investment

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degreeSuperior work ethic, strong desire to learn, and uncompromising attention to detailExcellent analytical, research, and organizational skillsOutstanding written and oral communication skillsSuperb critical thinking ability and demonstrated leadership experienceOutgoing personality and willingness to aggressively market the firm through outbound calling programs, networking, and thesis-based company targetingCollaborative and proactive approach with the confidence and capability to act autonomouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelWhile an academic background in a financial or quantitative field is certainly valuable, we highly encourage those who have distinguished themselves in any challenging course of study to apply.
