Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Event Sales and Catering Coordinator to join our prestigious, private club. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and successful execution of all private events held at the club. You will work closely with the Director of Conference Services and other team members to provide exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities: Event Planning & Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of all aspects of private events, including but not limited to: Meeting and greeting clients, conducting property tours, and answering inquiries. Assisting in the creation and execution of event proposals and contracts. Managing event logistics, including room setups, equipment rentals, and vendor coordination. Overseeing on-site event operations, ensuring smooth execution and client satisfaction. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional customer service. Proactively identify and address client needs and concerns. Gather and analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement. Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and reporting. Maintain accurate records of all events and client interactions. Assist with the preparation of sales reports and other relevant documentation. Teamwork & Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Conference Services and other team members to ensure seamless event execution. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event planning software. A passion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable event experiences.
