Private Institutional Client (PIC) Distribution & Operations Analyst

**Job Description**
**Department Overview**
The PIC Desk sits within Raymond James Global Wealth Solutions and provides sophisticated institutional clients access to an extensive range of private investment opportunities across asset classes such as venture capital, private equity, real estate, etc.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Assist team members in deal launches by creating deal summaries for advisors, drafting advisor/client launch emails, preparing webinars, setting up and managing access to data rooms, creating target Advisor outreach lists, organize sponsor roadshows, etc.
+ Interact with financial advisors to facilitate the investment process, answer technical questions, or other questions about PIC processes, scheduling calls with sponsors and/or issuing company where required.
+ Support financial advisors and their clients in closing transactions by ensuring all relevant RJ compliance forms are completed accurately for both client and employee investments.
+ Update private investments deal blotter to track all capital raised (for live and historical deals).
+ Create and maintain records and files necessary for the operation of the business, both in the CRM system and in shared documents.
+ Assist in tracking revenues and generating invoices for any monies owed by sponsors or issuing companies
+ Support the quarterly internal supervision review by capturing data on all transactions in the prior quarter, identifying gaps (if any) in RJ form submissions and disclosures, and ensuring appropriate supervisory signoffs have been completed
+ Prepare reports and analysis used in management presentations and other reporting materials.
+ Perform analysis required for special research projects.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Qualifications**
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
Knowledge of –
+ Investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry.
+ Financial markets and products.
**Skill in** –
+ MS Office suite of products, including PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
+ Strong interpersonal skills
**Ability to –**
+ Ability to work collaboratively with a team-oriented attitude.
+ Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
+ Handle stressful situations and provide a high level of customer service and responsiveness in a calm and professional manner.
+ Work independently.
**Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree required.
+ 1-3 years of preferred experience in the financial services industry.
**Licenses/Certifications:**
+ Must obtain FINRA licensing exams within first 12 months of employment (SIE, Series 7, and Series 63).
**Location** - Hybrid position – New York City, NY or St. Petersburg, FL
+ Applicants must choose a location before submitting their application.
