Fraser is seeking a Private Pay Coordinator to join our Revenue Cycle Department. In this role, you will handle phone inquiries and follow-up activities on patient accounts to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.

Primary Responsibilities:
Reviews and accurately reconciles patient accounts through the following activities: Processing refunds, billing corrections, and monitoring and responding to billing denials in a timely manner. Identifies, monitors and recommends resolutions to potential issues arising from accounts receivables. Pursues payments from third party carriers and patients. Sets up financial agreements with patients/families. Maintains a close collaboration with the Accounting Department. Assists with resolving discrepancies on the Deposit Spreadsheet. Collaboratively analyze client accounts and aged-receivables. Contacts patients\families to obtain accurate insurance information and notifies revenue cycle team members as necessary. Bloomington, Minnesota / Hybrid (coming into the office once per week) Monday through Friday, during standard business hoursThe starting pay range for this role is $20.00 to $24.00 an hour depending on qualifications.
Qualifications:
High School diploma required. BA/BS/AAS in related field such as medical coding/billing, accounting or health information preferred. 2-3 years of healthcare collections/customer service or medical claims experience preferred. Insurance billing/health care experience required. Previous experience working 3rd party carriers for rehabilitative, mental health and assessment services preferred.
