Job Description:At Regions, the Private Wealth Management Trust Advisor is responsible for the acquisition of Personal Trust, Estate, IRA and Investment Management client relationships. Responsibilities include prospecting, developing internal and external business networks for the purposes of generating new business opportunities, and participating in sales presentations. In addition to client acquisition, the Advisor is responsible for retaining and providing advisory services and support to their existing client relationships.
Primary Responsibilities
Performs perpetual discovery, assessing a client's financial situation to retain & grow the client relationshipProvides guidance and solutions for the development and on-going maintenance of complex investment allocations, goals and objectives; typically manages large and/or complex client relationships Consistently generates large new business opportunitiesKeeps abreast of trends and developments in the trust and investment management industry to ensure prudent administration and investment managementPartners with Trust Administrator to oversee the set-up, implementation and administration of trusts, estates, IRAs, IMAs and custody accountsEnsures that account administration complies with fiduciary principlesCoordinates client service activities with other wealth management partnersMentors and coaches junior trust advisorsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting or related fieldEight (8) years of Trust Administration, Estate/Tax Law, Financial Planning or relevant experience including direct client interaction to deliver fiduciary services (financial, tax, philanthropic and estate planning and advice, legal, insurance, real estate, asset management, trusts, estates, wills, IRAs, qualified retirement plans, or custody services).High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of relevant experience may also qualifySolid knowledge of trust principles and regulatory and tax matters relating to the administration of trust accountsDemonstrated knowledge of fiduciary products and services, including legal, tax and regulatory requirements applicable to fiduciary relationships and the administration of trust accountsPreferences
Advanced degree (e.g., Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Taxation)Professional Certification(s) to include Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) or Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS)Skills and Competencies

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
