Job Description:
Blackstone is seeking a creative and motivated marketing professional to develop and execute content strategies that resonate with the Japanese audience and drive engagement in line with our marketing objectives. The ideal candidate is an expert in storytelling, with an editorial mindset and extensive experience in producing high-quality and engaging content, with a finger on the pulse when it comes to relevant and timely content topics that resonate with the advisor and end investor audience.
This role will partner closely with colleagues in Firm Marketing, Product and Content Marketing, Digital Marketing and Sales Coverage teams to create, localize (trans-create) and execute content initiatives that aligns with campaigns and product launches. This role represents an opportunity for a talented, ambitious individual to help drive PWS’ mission of delivering innovative private market solutions, with exceptional service, to wealth managers and their clients.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Create, implement and oversee a comprehensive content marketing strategy including end-to-end project management of content programs, from ideation through to execution, production and distribution tailored for the Japanese market.
Partner closely with content team, external agencies and freelancers to produce and/ localize high-quality, engaging content across a broad range of mediums, including but not limited to articles, video scripts, advertisement copy and social media posts.
Adapt global content to suit local cultural nuances, ensuring it meets the preferences and behaviors of the Japanese audience while maintaining brand voice and message integrity.
Manage the content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of relevant content.
Work with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, sales and design to ensure content aligns with product launches and campaigns.
Optimize content for search engines to improve organic traffic and visibility in Japan.
Analyze content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on insights.
Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior and competitive landscape in Japan.
Identify opportunities for innovative content marketing tactics and campaigns.
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
5+ years’ experience writing and editing investment content for both B2B and B2C environments in the Japanese market.
Detail-orientated individual who possesses exceptional writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills; able to work independently.
Excellent writing and editing skills in both Japanese and English.
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and digital marketing tools.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
Comfortable working with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment, and manage comprehensive approval processes and able to prioritize projects and meet deadlines within specific time constraints.
