AdventHealth Medical Group, Rocky Mountain Region is seeking an experienced, PRN Audiologist.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is a sister organization of AdventHealth with over 600 Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in 27 individual service lines in Colorado. We have 5 hospitals, 8 freestanding emergency and urgent care centers and 6 ambulatory surgery centers. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for the clinicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for patient care to include assessment and treatment of hearing and vestibular disorders.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

· PRN Audiologist needed to work 3 Days per week for 16 weeks (336 Hours)

· Performs timely and accurate auditory diagnostic testing and evaluation

· Recognizes abnormal patient response, stress or unusual test results

· Provides appropriate intervention

· Provides safe and appropriate patient treatments

· Administers treatments that are appropriate to evaluation findings

· Involves patient and family in treatment planning, and education,

· Performs Timely, thorough and accurate documentation in the medical record

· Meets minimum productivity standards

· Proactive communication with manager regarding current schedule status Willingness to flex to changes in schedule, including accepting add-on patients and assignments

· Is able to organize, prioritize, balance and complete multiple tasks and activities

· Performs patient care and other activities in a calm, professional, respectful manner

· Complies with departmental policies and procedures

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· No previous experience required

· Doctoral degree in Audiology

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

Colorado Audiology license.

National certification in clinical competency through ASHA (CCC-A)
