Job Responsibilities:
• Performs home visits to assess patients and develops plan of care accordingly
• Documents in homecare home base
• Proficient in trach care, ventilators, CPAP, BIPAP, O2 administration
• Notifies physician, supervisor and care team on any change of status of patient
• Assist the patient in learning and using all respiratory medication correctly including
inhalers, nebulizers, CPAP, BIPAP and oral medications
• Maintains confidentiality of all patient information
Job Qualifications:
o Licensed in the state of Florida.
o Hands-on BLS Card.
o Adheres to policies and procedures specific to patient rights.
o Maintains a clean and safe environment; identifies and reports hazards. Assures patients, guest, clients, and residents safety.
o Meets all requirements for mandatory in-services.
o Adheres to policies/procedures specific to universal precautions when delivering patient care.
