Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. 3. Process clean linen coming from the CBW (continuous batch washer)
4. Must be able to operate laundry finishing equipment.
5. Adhere to all infection control standards at all times.
6. Maintain production standards
7. Provide a clean environment for the health and safety of others.
8. Must keep work area organized: No standing objects or equipment preventing access to; electric panels, fire extinguishers, or eye wash stations. Keep all exit locations clear.
9. Maintain a clean work environment/area throughout the shifts.
10. Maintain dock area.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Training:
Must be able to meet expectations within qualifying period for equipment training, competencies, and responsibilities.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school or successful completion of WIN Testing or completion of McLeod approved Transition to Work Program.
