Job Description:

Medical Assistant - Oncology

PRN - variance in schedule

The Medical Assistant performs the following duties: chart preparation, medication reconciliation, vital signs, height, weight, assists in minor procedures, phlebotomy, clinic flow and any other duties as needed to assist physician.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required, or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year medical office experience is preferred.

Successful completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program preferred.

BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.
