The Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Medical Imaging Department provides direct and indirect patient care. He/She applies knowledge and skills to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist must possess good communication skills and must be able to effectively communicate with physicians, peers patients and families. He/She works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to ensure quality care is delivered.
Associates degree preferred. Graduate of a Program in Radiologic Technology.
Licenses: Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
