Quality Health Pharmacy (QHP) a division of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, began Pharmacy Services out of our Texas Center in 1992. Devereux’s Pharmacy Office, which is located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced PRN Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. Under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with the team, internally and externally, to deliver excellent pharmacy service focusing on accuracy and customer service. This position requires availability during weekdays, M-F as needed between 8am and 4P30pm.

 

Our ideal candidate is a great collaborator and can successfully juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:

 

Assure that all prescriptions/medications dispensed are appropriate to the ages and populations served;Compound and dispense medications by means of standard physical and chemical procedures to fill written medication requests by authorized individuals;Ensure compliance with patient care quality standards; assist in the purchase and inventory maintenance of all pharmaceuticals and related substance/supplies;Participate in the department’s planning, education and human resource management.

 

Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy; Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by State Board of Pharmacy in New Jersey;Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a hospital, long-term care or retail pharmacist;Broad knowledge of professional and commercial phases of the pharmaceutical industry, with emphasis on dispensing, drug actions, side effects, contraindications and normal dosage ranges, and Federal, State and local laws regarding the pharmacy and dispensing of drugs;Proficiency in the Microsoft Office products;Strong customer service skills and team player with the ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment;Multi-tasker with ability to meet deadlines;Valid driver’s license and car is required.
