Description:Under the general direction of the nurse manager, the staff nurse provides direct patient care, collaborates with patients, families, peers, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team in the delivery of healthcare services to a specific patient population. The staff nurse assesses patients needs, plans care, implements and evaluates the medical and nursing regimens in accordance with the patients' needs based on the nurse's knowledge of growth/development, the hospital and nursing philosophy, policies/procedures, and standards. He/She demonstrates leadership/management skills and a commitment to professional accountability and growth. Position may require working with other campuses or alternate sites.

What you will do:  

Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care.  A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Minimum Qualifications:  

Graduation from an accredited professional school of nursing. Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment. Valid driver’s license where required by assignment. Required to obtain chemotherapy certification within 6 months of hire.  BLS certification required.
