Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist
Shift: PRN – 12 hours, Days/Nights

Key Responsibilities:
Perform respiratory procedures under the guidance of Physicians and the Respiratory Director, adhering to NBRC, state regulations, and departmental protocols.Recommend and implement respiratory care procedures and protocols based on patient assessments.Deliver respiratory care in acute, chronic, and emergency scenarios, including managing mechanical ventilation and artificial airways.Preferably have experience with Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT).Collect and analyze arterial blood gases, administer aerosolized medications, and provide other respiratory treatments.Initiate and manage oxygen therapy using devices such as high-flow nasal cannulas and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.Maintain accurate patient care documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.Requirements:
Associate's degree with a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) License issued by the State of Florida.Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certifications.Why Santa Rosa Medical Center?
