Team or Function Overview
The Pro Retail Sales Specialist promotes GAF product offerings and strengthens existing business relationships in an effort to grow sales within the Pro Segment.
Summary
The Pro Retail Sales Specialist will be responsible for visiting and building rapport with Retail Pro Desks, Store Managers, Key Decision Makers (KDMs), Account Executive of Pro Services (PSMs/PARs), Market Directors, and Vice Presidents of Store Operations (VPSO) within the assigned region and/or market(s) in order to promote GAF product offerings and to strengthen existing business relationships in an effort to grow sales within the Pro Business Segment.
Essential Duties Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for driving and increasing Pro-Business sales within all assigned stores, region(s) and/or market(s)Develop and maintain relationships at regional level of managementFacilitate and coordinate large and complex ordersAct as primary retail sales representative overseeing all contractor sales within the assigned region(s)/market(s)Develop Retail business plans through understanding key sales business drivers in order to grow, develop, maintain and manage the overall relationship with regional businesses, branches of national customers,and existing business accountsSpend ample amount of time at customer job sites and business locations in order to further develop customer relationshipsCollaborate directly with Home Depot/Lowes internal teams (RPSMs / PARs / PSMs / Store Mgrs /PRO Acct. At least 1-year experience selling products in the home improvement, construction, or property maintenance industry

3+ years of relevant professional Sales experience and/or calling on contractors within the retail or consumer goods industry
