Intern Orientation Highlights
Internship Program Requirements:
Educational Background: Pursuing a four-year degree with an expected graduation between December 2025 and Summer 2027. Must have overall 2.8GPA
Transportation: Interns must have their own transportation to and from work.
Geographical Flexibility: Willing to relocate to one of our ADM locations.
Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required.
Availability: Must be available for a summer internship from mid-May to early August 2025.

Job Summary
As a CD&D Food Science Intern, you'll support customer projects by executing both proactive and reactive tasks, ensuring that all laboratory activities align with technical, safety, and efficiency standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Formulation Support: Batch, modify bases, screen ingredients, and make minor formulation changes under the supervision of a Scientist. Update formulas in the database accordingly.
Data Generation: Produce data for customer demo sheets and prepare sample shipments.
Technical Analysis: Perform analysis on samples and accurately record results in project files.
Math Proficiency: Conduct basic math conversions as needed.
Lab Maintenance: Ensure lab safety, organization, and cleanliness. Engage in practices to prevent foodborne illness or injury and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Inventory Management: Monitor and order ingredient stock for sampling, store products correctly to maintain integrity, and ensure an organized workspace.
Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
