Problem Solving Technical Manager (Quality)

Responsible to lead problem solving and resolution in new programs and current critical Top projects from a problem solving standpoint, fast response and conflict management as needed, with excellent leadership skills.

Your Role:

Know customer (specific) requirement and assure appropriate communication inside Aptiv CS organization

Data Science proefficient using Excel data bases and Minitab software as minimum

Experience on  problem and projects definition  thru Shainin Top  5 or Drill downs from generic problems to specific projects that will lead to 80/20 principle – for new or current projects in Mfg plants.

Problem solve projects identified and managed by the organization in order to Meet customer scorecards and improve  VOC processes

Present specific problem solving projects to customers thru 8D formats or customer required formats. Assure resolution of issues in the floor and prevent re-occurrence

Prepare and lead the management reviews with customer

Support Customer Manager in specific escalated concerns and customer related strategies

Coordinate and lead support teams at customer location during critical activities

Follow up on systemic improvement plans and verify corrective actions efficiency

Plan and participate in customer audits and control share point maintenance done by the plants

Be the first level of escalation for the customer from a problem solving standpoint. Lead resolution of issues and coordinate efforts with CTC lab in Ohio and STC Lab in Saltillo

Experience in leading continuous improvement projects in Molding, stamping, assembly, PCB  assembly, etc

Lead problem solving for warranty issues (experience)

Your Background:

Bachelors Degree

+5 years of experience as Quality

Automotive Industry experience

Team Leadership experience

Basic knowledge in OEM systems (Customer complaints)

Availability to travel 50% of the time

Advanced English level (Conversational/85%)

Highly Desired - Advanced problem solving knowledge (Shainin PS, Six Sigma desired etc)

Conflict management

Mechanical, electrical and electronic knowledge (Preferred)

Knowledge in PFMEA, APQP

Experience in GM BIQ requirements

Ford SCAAF and customer requirements / system experience

Launching  new businesses in a mfg plant

Knows how to perform RFMEA and Functional analysis
