Procedural RN N Day Surgery

LOCATION:        Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, Marble Falls TX

DEPT:                 Day Surgery

SCHEDULE:      PRN

The Patient Population includes both adult and pediatric services. Service lines include general surgery, urology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, ENT, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, and Podiatry.

\n

 We have 5 preoperative rooms, 8 PACU bays and our patient ratio in PACU  1:1

\n

 We provide surgical services to patients of all ages and due to our facility size, the RN will be cross-trained for preop, PACU, and Phase 2 roles and pre-admission testing.

\n

The facility is in the beautiful Hill Country. BSWH supports future growth and provides formal education opportunities with the Guild.  Opportunities for growth with cross-training in multiple roles within perioperative services.

Job Summary

As a Procedural RN Novice, you'll follow our nursing model to deliver patient care with your team. Your job is to ensure patient safety and a smooth treatment journey. You'll help patients navigate treatment by understanding their needs and the healthcare system.

\n

Qualifications

\n\nAccredited program or (2) two years minimum, required for this position.\nA major focus or specialization in Nursing.\nIdeally, some relevant professional experience, though less than a (1) year would suffice.\nRegistered Nurse (RN)\nBasic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within (30) thirty days of hire or transfer.\n
