Responsible for clinical receptionist activities in all Imaging, Cardiology, Radiation Oncology and Cath lab locations. The Associate Patient Access/Scheduler, with limited supervision, will be responsible for working with patients, physicians, medical office personnel and medical center staff in a prompt, courteous manner.  They will also schedule, pre-register, register all patients presenting for services at anyone of the locations within their scope. This position will also provide coverage for the radiologist reading room.

Required Qualifications:

6 months Experience in a medical and/or Customer service position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical terminology certification upon hire. Customer service experience in an acute healthcare setting. Admitting, insurance eligibility and verification experience. 1 year of experience scheduling radiographic procedures.
