Job Description

Skyworks Solutions is seeking a process/integration/device engineering summer intern within the Foundry Operations Engineering group.  We work with world class foundries to deliver process and device technologies for RF, CMOS, BCD products. We strive to maximize yield while maintaining performance and cost with zero-defect mindset to deliver best in class quality.

Education:

Masters or Ph.D. Engineering candidate (currently enrolled).

Responsibilities include:

Support the development/ramp/production of various products across multiple fabs by analyzing & modeling Silicon yield and PCM electrical results. Collaborate with technology development, product, quality, reliability, and manufacturing teams to ensure the process technologies meets objectives. Working with the various foundries to meet device targets, yield, and reliability targets.

Minimum Requirements:

Currently pursuing graduate degree in areas such as Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.

Preferred qualifications:

Strong background in devices, materials, or process engineering. Flexible and interested in a wide range of topics within semiconductors devices physics, process, and material. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions. Ability to take the initiative and drive for results.

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
