Hinkley Point C (HPC) is the first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years, HPCs two EPR reactors will be capable of generating 3.26GW of secure, low carbon electricity for 60 years, enough electricity to power around 6 million homes. In addition to the projects ‘clean energy’ benefits, HPC will create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy.

The Process Analyst will provide technical expertise to the Integrated Management System (IMS) team, working closely with the Heads of Departments and wider Nuclear Compliance, Assurance and Performance Improvement (NCAPI) team. This is a demanding post requiring excellent communication and organisational skills combined with pro-active approach to the diverse workload. 

The SZC project is utilising intelligent replication of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project, in order to provide the benefits of being next-of-a-kind. The intelligent replication includes utilising the benefits, experience and learning form the HPC project delivered by its management system. The SZC Integrated Management System (IMS) Specialist will work with SZC stakeholders and the HPC project to manage the intelligent replication and 
adoption of HPC IMS content.

Role responsibilities\:

Work as an integral part of a team contributing to team success, communications and a positive working environment. Collaborate with management and project stakeholders to orchestrate and coordinate process improvement project activities, ensuring seamless execution.   This includes all related functions (Health and Safety, Security, Environment, Quality etc) and Process Owners for timely document reviews and approvals. Provide an effective Process Architecture service to the IMS Manager to help ensure the IMS meets the requirements of regulatory Licence Conditions and international standards for management systems. Assessment of the effectiveness of ongoing process improvement initiatives, providing valuable recommendations for refinement. Provide expert coaching and guidance to procedure development subject matter experts and project leaders to ensure process, safety, compliance and quality standards are met.       Development of detailed procedure creation or update plans that encompass goals, milestones, governance requirements and resource allocation, fostering transparent communication. *

Strong presentation and communication skills – able to present at multiple organisational levels Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate experience in highly regulated industry / major project environment. Extensive experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance Process Best Practice and Company Procedures Excellent understanding and application of process modelling standards and design techniques. Capable and experienced with using Visio to create and map processes
