What You'll Get To DoMake a complete inspection of the plant at least once per shiftMaintain two-way radio communication at all times with the control room operator or supervisorAssist in sampling proceduresInspect and clean weigh feeders to ensure accuracyObserve bag houses to guard against air contaminationLook for and report defective lubrication, cooling water tower system, bearing and drivesRoutinely poke down on air lance pre-heather tower as conditions dictate. Daily clean up assignmentsMaintain working area in a neat and orderly conditionCapable of troubleshooting production/process problemsPerform other job-related duties and responsibilities as required by supervisionPerform all work in accordance with established safety rules and practices and requirements of air and water quality standards
What We Are Looking ForHigh school education or equivalentWillingness to work rotating shiftsBasic mathematic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentage calculations)Read, write and speak English fluently
