Primary Responsibilities

In the role of ProcessBIM Designer, we'll count on you to:

Model mechanical piping system layouts and perform elementary mechanical design of piping systems for water / wastewater, utility, industrial, and institutional power and energy facilitiesPrepare piping diagrams, composite piping plans, equipment arrangements, piping isometrics, and other detailed drawings required for fabrication and construction under the supervision of a Mechanical Designer or EngineerRoute piping in 3DConduct short-term field assignments at client facilities to support project work as neededPerform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

Strong computer skills utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit.Active interest in learning the engineering disciplines assigned and growing into a senior designer.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree in a Technology program or combination of education and relevant experiencePrevious experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firmComprehensive understanding of piping systems.Piping design/drafting experienceOther compatible piping design programs is a plus such as MicroStation or AutoCAD Plant 3DDatabase familiarity a plusLocal candidates preferred
