Process Central Administrator Job field : Manufacture / assembly and repair Location : Lancaster, New York Usa , New York , United States Contract type : Permanent Contract duration : Full-time Required degree : High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Required experience : More than 3 years Professional status : Technician Spoken language(s) : English Fluent Salary range : $55,000 - $67,000 depending on experience \# 2025-151712 Apply with one click Any questions ? **Job Description** Provide principal administrative duties in the Quality Assurance department for processing, maintaining, logging and archiving regulatory documentation associated with shipping product to include FAA forms 8130-3, 8130-9, 8100-1 and other paperwork such as cylinder test reports, detail information sheets, customer specific forms and inspection data sheets. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. 1. Maintain a highly visible and responsive relationship to FAA DMIR's, Quality Assurance personnel, and the material handling cell. 2. Determine the approach/action to take in non-routine situations including record searches, interpreting customer information, and communicating effectively with internal and external customers. 3. Support Value Stream Manager in coordinating customer liaison activities. This may include the generation of FAA form 8130-3 airworthiness approval tag, certificates of conformance, general customer correspondence, and supplemental paperwork needed for product shipment, etc. 4. Maintain various Quality Assurance computer databases. 5. Create various computer reports associated with the Quality Assurance function. 6. Investigate and process customer requests for information. 7. Organize and maintain record storage including transfer of records to electronic files. 8. Analyze operating practices such as record keeping systems, forms, databases, process layout, and communication and provide input for creation or revision of current practices. 9. Provide general clerical and administrative support for the Quality Assurance team and back-up support for the Quality Assurance administrative assistant. 10. Engage in continuous improvement activities driven by the Value Stream Manager. 11. Willingness to train as a DMIR. Listed above are the ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of this job classification. Detail oriented with ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, access, power point), Internet and e-mail.
