Position Summary
\n\n\n\n\nThis position is responsible for assuring that the processes within the facility are defined, measured and in-control with respect to actual performances thereby improving the economics of the process.
\n\n\n\n\nResponsibilities / Responsabilidades:
\n\n\n\n\n\n Reduce variation in product quality, achieve more consistent production, and maximize yield\n Enhance operator productivity, reduce waste and optimize efficiency\n Assure Process Control Standards meet expectations\n Follow all work safety policies and guidelines ensuring process and product safety\n Observe equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns\n Adhere to and assure compliance with all USDA, GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) and Safety/Food Safety procedures, standards and guidelines\n Monitor testing and development of products\n Train/retrain hourly team members as needed, including when developing new processes and products \n\n\n\n\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities / Conocimiento y Habilidades
\n\n\n\n\n\n Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills able to work in a fast-paced environment\n Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions\n Familiar with SPC, HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs and USDA Regulations\n Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Mathematical skills – Algebra/Statistics\n Must be willing and able to perform physical requirement of the job with or without reasonable accommodation\n\n\n\n\n\nEducation & Experience / Educación & Experiencia:
